Families will enjoy knot tying lessons from legendary Timber Jim and axe throwing demonstrations. Entertainment will include live music and one-of-a-kind ornaments made from fresh cut timber rounds emblazoned with a hot branded silhouette of Joey’s axe.
“Growing up in a small logging town we didn’t have access to the facilities like we’re helping to build” said Joey, “so it feels good to do something where we can engage our fans and raise awareness and money for a worthy cause…Beyond that, we’re excited about extending the commemorative tree buying experience at our lot this holiday season.”
Last year the Portland Timbers community fund and the 107ist helped to restore a number of soccer fields in the Portland area. Joey and crew hope to increase their efforts next year with a portion of proceeds from their Christmas tree lot.
The tree lot is made possible from sponsors, volunteers and local tree farmers. For further questions please contact Mason Davis at 503-936-5178 or This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it .
