Set it up your way
Sometimes, not everyone is in one LDAP directory. With Crowd, you can map any combination of directories to a single application, making it easy to cater for contractors, partners, and others that might not be in your main directory. And you can manage their rights for everything in the same place, making it a 30 second job to deactive their account when they finish up.
Can't make changes?
If you can't make group changes in your directory, Crowd allows you to keep your users in LDAP but manage their memberships within Crowd. You can even have new users automatically added to the groups you desire!
Connect to your custom user directory
Crowd provides an API for writing your own directory connectors. Custom directory connectors allow developers to connect Crowd to custom user-stores, such as existing databases or legacy systems
